רועי לודמיר דווח על תצפית כלב ים נזירי Monachus monachus (Hermann 1779) Mediterranean Monk Seal
“מצאתי את כלב הים בהרצליה בחוף המכונה דרומי, בערך מול סי אן סאן, 500 מטר לעומק הים הייתי על סאפ ובמרחק של 10 מטרים ממני צץ כלב ים גדול.
ראיתי את ראשו וגבו ולאחר שניה בערך צלל ונעלם.
אם רלוונטי או לא, בעומק הים במרחק של 100 מטר ממני או יותר שהתה להקת עופות לבנים “.
להערכתנו זה פרט בוגר מאחר שרועי לא ראה גחון .

After a long period without reports, IMMRAC received a report this morning from a sap surfer that was rowing from Herzliya to Tel Aviv.
Roi Ludmir Reported of the Monk Seal Observation Monachus monachus (Hermann 1779) Mediterranean Monk Seal.
“I saw the seal in Herzliya, about in front of CNN Sun, 500 meters deep, opposite a beach known ‘south’. I was on my Sap and at a distance of 10 meters from me a large seal appeared.
I saw his head and back and after about a second he dived and disappeared.
Whether relevant or not, at a depth of 100 meters from me or more, there was a flock of white birds. “
In our opinion this is a mature animal since Roy did not see a the ventral.
